Wild Rose Studio 'Romantic'

Hi all, I have just arrived home from a fabulous trip to Simon Says Stamp in Ohio. It was lovely to spend Thanksgiving with Heidi and family and I was also there for the staff Christmas party which was held in a bowling alley! It was AWESOME!! I had an absolute blast, I went to a basketball game, read a story in Abby's school, lots of fun stuff :-) ! One evening Renee (lovely friend from the office) Shari Carroll and I went to a Chinese lantern festival, that was a super fun outing too :-)

On the way there and on the way back I spent a few days in London to see my family, and to do a little Christmas shopping, well you have to don't you!! ;-)

The time flew by so quickly and I can hardly believe that I am back in my craft room with Mopsy cat keeping me company ;-)

Anyhow's moving on ,,,,,,,,

I made this card using a brand new Wild Rose Studio A5 stamp set  called 'Romantic'.

There are 4 new sets in this release, the other 3 being a super popular Bella Elephant Set, an adorable Milton Bear Set and very beautiful Antique Roses Set. All of them are fabulous and it was difficult to know which one to choose to use first!!

I used the partial die cutting technique where you fussy cut part of the image out and lay that part over the top of the die so that it remains intact. I should have taken a photo of that process while making this card but I forgot, this one uses the same technique though.

I used a Scattered Confetti Paper Pack and layered with a lovely Mulberry Cardstock. The sentiment is heat embossed with Silver Powder. Al of the flowers on the veil are glittered, it is super sparkly IRL, it doesn't show up so well on the photos so you will just have to take my word for it ;-)

Thanks for looking!! I need to go and unpack now ;-)

I hope you all have a great day!! :-)
