Going Dotty with Washi :-)

Hi again :-) I am here with another card for the 'Hope You Can Cling To' event over on the Splitcoast Stampers Site. The theme for this one is

'Sticking By Your Side'
to make a washi tape background.

I loved this challenge and this card was made in about 5 mins ,,, love it when that happens :-) I spend ages faffing about most of the time :-)

So easy !! I just used every dotty washi tape I possess and stuck them down, die cut the 'hello',
I then taped some acetate behind it so that I would have something to stick the bits to, I then popped everything up on pop dots to create a shadow.
I love how this turned out and I have a lovely washi die cut 'hello' to make another card ! :-)

Thanks for looking :-) If you would like to join in with the challenges ,,,, LOTS of fab prizes on offer and it is for such a good cause ,,, click on the blinkie :-)

Hope you all have a great week :-)

Papertake Weekly ,,,,,Happy Halloween Hues Challenge

Happy Tuesday to you all :-) I am here with some Halloween Candy creations for the Papertake Weekly Challenge ,,, the theme this week is ,,,

so anything halloween or you can just use spooky halloween colours ,, green, purple, orange, black ,,,,, etc :-)

We are sponsored by the lovely Mary and Andrea aka The Ribbon Girl so a fab prize on offer :-)

I made some halloween treats :-)

I saw one of these lollipop ghosts on someones blog, apologies but I can't remember who's it was but I thought it was a fabulous idea ! :-) You just wrap some tissue around, I added some crinoline too, tied it with twine added some googly eyes and made the mouth with a black marker ,,, easy peasy :-)

When I showed it to hubby he said ,,, ooh nice ,, is that a bride !!!!! HAHAHA :-)

The treat box was more involved :-) I cut out the box on the silhouette cameo from plain white card, I coloured with distress inks then sprayed with shine. While that was drying I cut the spider and web on the Silhouette too,  I cut the web twice and used it as a mask and then sponged black soot distress over it to create the design ,,, it looks fabulously spooky creepy IRL :-)
I popped some candy in the box and stitched the edges to make sure the kids have trouble getting to them ,,,, thats part of the fun eh,, it also prevents me from eating them :-)
