Jill designed a fabulous sketch for us to follow this week :-)

I loved making this one ,,, you know how sometimes a card just makes itself ,,, well this one did ,, nothing to do with me !! :-)

The image is one of the new Wags and Whiskers stamps ,,, soo cute eh !! :-) I coloured the image with copics and 3D'd it onto a dark mirri card ,,, very glamour puss !! :-) The papers are Funky Fairys Papercrafts ,, these are from the Chocolate Covered Christmas set:-) Gorgeous !! The sentiment is also from a Funky Fairys punchem set :-)

The feathers I have had for years ,,,, must be from when Amy used to do tap dancing and I always had to make her outfits with lots of sequins and feathers :-) This close up also shows me taking the piccy lol :-)

The flowers are prima and I used a little cat charm too ,,, what else ,, oh yes ,, I made the brad using my new Papermania brad making kit :-)

Thanks for looking :-) We have my lovely buddy Pascale joining us so please pop by her blog to leave her a comment ,, and the DT too ,, everyone has made lovely creations for you to see :-)

Spread the love for Jaimie Blog Hop :-)

Hi everyone :-)
I am sure by now most of you know the reason for this blog hop but just in case you came here first here's a little excerpt from the email I received from ERIN who together with DENISE LYNN organised this very special hop.

On October 4th, 4 teenagers armed with knives broke into a home were a mother and her 11 year old daughter were sleeping. They stabbed the mom, Kimberly Cates, to death and left her daughter, Jaimie, for dead in their driveway. It was a completely random act, their home was chosen only due to its secluded surroundings. While it is hard, I’m sure, for anyone to hear news like this, it was particularly troubling for me. One of my long-time friends and her family are the next-door neighbors of the Cates Family.

After receiving a sorrow-filled letter from my friend, I immediately knew I needed to do something, I just wasn’t sure what. Denise brought up the idea of a Spread the Love Blog Hop and here we are.
We are asking that you to mail your cards to Jaimie (address below). We want her to be showered with cards from around the world in an effort to restore hope to this young girl’s life. We’re also encouraging anyone who participates in the hop to mail a card to Jaimie and/or anyone they know who has been a victim of random violence. We want this hop to be BIG; the more cards sent to Jaimie the better!!!

Our hope is that everyone hopping around today will stop for a moment and think about Jaimie and her father and what life must be like for them now. One moment in time has changed their lives forever. We are asking that everyone reading this message please take a moment to make a card and send it off to Jaimie. You can make something very simple or much more involved, but please share some words of hope and love and let her know that people do care and want the best for her. Please send your card to the address below:

Jaimie is not really a girlie girl, but she does like hot pink and black. She likes outdoor activities such as biking, skateboarding, razor rip stick, snowboarding, and karate. As you may have read, she is a black belt in karate.

You should have arrived here from VICKI'S BLOG if you came here first you can start the hop at KATARINA'S BLOG

The next stop on the hop is SHELLY at Minkie's Paper Paradise :-)

I made this card for Jamie following the lovely sketch on the Truly Scrumptious Challenge as she likes Karate I thought she might like an 'Oriental Card'. I have used Simon Says Clear Stamps OH HAPPY DAY ASIAN FLAIR Lot Exclusive Set I used handmade papermania paper,, gorgeous ,, I also used Basic Grey papers for paper piecing and background.
Heidi from Simon Says Stamp is offering a $25 shopping spree including free shipping, this prize will be drawn by Erin at the end of the hop. I will be giving away this stamp set as my weekly blog candy which for this week I am linking to this blog hop :-)

You have plenty of time to join the hop, it lasts from today until next Monday 9th November :-) if you would like to win my candy, you must complete the hop and make a card for Jamie or another youngster affected by an act of violence, and leave me a comment here :-)

Everyone involved with the hop can enter too :-)

I am sure you will enjoy the hop ,,, I am going to see what everyone has made too :-)
Here is the address to mail your cards to

The hop will end at the Stamp Something for Jamie Blog
